hanging out in my warm kitchen

It was still only 27 degrees here when I watched this ship head out for Taipei this morning. It should get there on 17th, a little longer than it took David to fly back from there on Monday!
Stayed busy and warm in the kitchen for part of my day making a new batch of granola and kefir and marinating tofu ready to roast for later. It’s the Fiesta Bowl at 5:30pm my time and since Oregon is playing (er, MIL points!) and it MIGHT be Chip Kelly’s last coaching gig with them I figured I’d get my dinner all ready so that I could watch the game and just come up and grab my food at halftime. There’s beer and wine in the fridge down there which is good because food on a plate I can carry up and down on my lap in the elevator – drinks are a bit tougher and you know how I hate to spill any 😉 David will be able to watch the game in Atlanta too since it’s on ESPN – hopefully it will end better than the Sugar Bowl did for the Gators yesterday!

About girlonahandcycle

Natural Brit/Naturalized American wife, mom, grandma and all around old broad still happily ignoring my MS (since 1985 - ha!). Every time it slows me down I find a way to speed back up which explains my very cool Tilite wheelchair and Top End handcycle ..........also my ripped arms ; ) Don't get back to the homeland or to other cool places quite as easily or often as I'd like anymore so theoretically my rambling here keeps me a little more connected to far away friends and family.
