made it home…

Well sadly our winter vacation didn’t exactly go as planned. David had an unexpected death in his family and we had to cut our time with Taryn short but the day we had with her was sunny and warm and we got to see manatees and alligators and oranges growing wild down at Homosassa Springs 😉 We also got to sample some of Gainesville’s great food and coffee at Satchel’s and Volta and Southern Charm before we left town. She has one more year there for sure so we’ll make it back again to tick off some more of the things on our list. We did make it to their newly opened Trader Joe’s for her to stock up though because that’s tough for her to do on her bike 😉

About girlonahandcycle

Natural Brit/Naturalized American wife, mom, grandma and all around old broad still happily ignoring my MS (since 1985 - ha!). Every time it slows me down I find a way to speed back up which explains my very cool Tilite wheelchair and Top End handcycle ..........also my ripped arms ; ) Don't get back to the homeland or to other cool places quite as easily or often as I'd like anymore so theoretically my rambling here keeps me a little more connected to far away friends and family.
