planted our edibles on the back deck where the grill is last year but the lack of a tap out there was a pain. Carrying containers full of water over 3″ doorsteps is not something wheelchairs excel out so they were dependent on David being here and remembering to water them – not good!
So, we’ve moved them to the front deck this year and we’ll see how that works out. Obviously I have mint (for mojitos) and cucumber (for my Hendrick’s gin) but we also have tomatoes, mini eggplants, bush beans, Anaheim peppers, acorn squash, yellow squash and a bunch of other herbs. There’s a tap on the deck attached to a hose so I have no excuse not to keep them alive this year. Just not sure how they’ll like the wind off the Sound but we’ll find out soon enough!
