but sadly I was out on the deck with the spotting scope looking for the orcas when the rain put in its sudden appearance so I had to hustle back inside pretty quick. They’d been spotted going south down the east side of Vashon Island but must have been too far away for me to catch sight of. On the bright side though, the rain did mean that I didn’t have to water the pots again 😉
and I did get to watch this eagle out there fishing for his dinner –
David is halfway across the Atlantic already so by the time I get up tomorrow he and Taryn will have hooked up again (I hope!) and I’m sure will have wandered over many cobbled streets soaking up sights such as this.
