More Thursday thunderstorms

We got thunderstorms for the second Thursday in a row today. Woke up to them early this morning when David got up to start heading east on his latest trip and I’ve been watching great lightning displays across the sound for most of the evening. There was a nice clear spell this afternoon though for my roll to and from the Log House Museum so that was nice timing 😉
Spent my time there today helping Nancy, one of our volunteers and Sarah, the museum manager, straighten out some of the hundreds of preserved luminaries the historical society has, to get them ready for this exhibit at Alki Arts on Sunday evening

1,000 bags of ‘rage, sadness, and fear’ – and hope: Days before ‘The Earth Cried Out,’ meet the man behind 9/11′s Alki luminarias.

About girlonahandcycle

Natural Brit/Naturalized American wife, mom, grandma and all around old broad still happily ignoring my MS (since 1985 - ha!). Every time it slows me down I find a way to speed back up which explains my very cool Tilite wheelchair and Top End handcycle ..........also my ripped arms ; ) Don't get back to the homeland or to other cool places quite as easily or often as I'd like anymore so theoretically my rambling here keeps me a little more connected to far away friends and family.
