closing it down!

Here I am helping close down the outdoor drinking season on a good friend’s patio – you know me, always happy to help out with those kind of occasions 😉

It doesn’t look like we’ll be flirting with sunshine and 70 degrees again for a while up here in the Pacific Northwest and we were lucky enough to while away a few hours in this gorgeous spot watching the hummingbirds, pileated woodpeckers and stellar jays do their thing. There were no drones despite many earlier appearances I hear so I didn’t get any target practice 🙂 but a great afternoon despite that!

We’d driven through Bothell to check out the new McMenamin’s resort there – we have to take the girls to the Lagoon and Tiki Bar which was once the site of all their swim team practices next time they’re both in town – and then we’d had lunch at Kanishka, our favourite Indian restaurant so no complaints from me about how my my Friday went 🙂

About girlonahandcycle

Natural Brit/Naturalized American wife, mom, grandma and all around old broad still happily ignoring my MS (since 1985 - ha!). Every time it slows me down I find a way to speed back up which explains my very cool Tilite wheelchair and Top End handcycle ..........also my ripped arms ; ) Don't get back to the homeland or to other cool places quite as easily or often as I'd like anymore so theoretically my rambling here keeps me a little more connected to far away friends and family.
