moving time (but not for me!)

This morning we got to tag along for the final walk-through before Chelsea & Rich take possession of their very own home next week. Nice that Chelsea didn’t wait until she was 8 months pregnant like last time they moved but of course she won’t be much help moving furniture this time around either 😉

Cora was really excited to show off her new house and there were so many things she just loved to do there –  picking raspberries from the garden came a very close second to playing in the sprinklers while the guys tested them out 🙂

The fact that their real estate agent was our next door neighbor in the house the girls grew up in made it extra special and of course meant that it was no surprise that they navigated the increasingly choppy waters of the Seattle real estate market so well with her guidance that they were able to get the house they wanted despite the frenzied bidding wars you apparently have to go through these days – go Karen! 😉

Not that anything comes without the odd surprise of course….. this may well have been the moment that Chelsea mentioned to Rich and David that it would be nice if the interior was repainted before she moves in! Hahaha…. 🙂IMG_0838

About girlonahandcycle

Natural Brit/Naturalized American wife, mom, grandma and all around old broad still happily ignoring my MS (since 1985 - ha!). Every time it slows me down I find a way to speed back up which explains my very cool Tilite wheelchair and Top End handcycle ..........also my ripped arms ; ) Don't get back to the homeland or to other cool places quite as easily or often as I'd like anymore so theoretically my rambling here keeps me a little more connected to far away friends and family.
